I'm a native Memphian living in Nashville and listen to several of the Memphis stations on the Internet. I've noticed that Luca at Rock 103 was there one day and mysteriously gone the next. Can anyone elaborate?

You had great personalities in all day-parts - heck I remember when it was just Drake Hall in the afternoon, and Zeke Logan would just drop in before his shift at nights. You had the best people in the morning, Tim, Bev and Bad-Dog with many different producers - most remembered were Jarman and JoyChristie. Kellie Cruise then Jennifer Reed in mid-days - I may not have personally liked her, but she did a helluva job - then after Zeke Logan Joined Drake in the PM drive I think that's when Brian Jay joined up then Jaman's proverbial stint in the evenings - and we can't forget Wes Yahola in the overnights, is it just me or did he once go by Wes Young? Can't remember??

If you haven't read "Right Of The Dial - The Rise of Clear Channel and the Fall of Commerical Radio" by Alec Foege, then anyone who's worked for that company should. You'll see just what vampires they were to the industry.
But I digress.
Rock 103 is dead - please pull the plug.
Let those of us who remember it as a great station, mourn it for was it was - not the shallow shell it has become.

I used to love to hear 103's electric lunch back in the day and they played a lot of hard rock old Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, etc at night. Personally I like the hair bands and would like to hear more of them on 103 and a deep cut of artists. What would classic rock do if they want a whole 24 hours without playing any Led Zep, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd, and Aerosmith.
