What's Matt Going To Do??

From remarks made yesterday, it seems Matt will be doing something else other than being with Dan.

I don't like that idea cause there is a chemistry with the two of them and we love it when they just sit around and banter.

I just hope Matty doesn't land up with "Mr Wonderful" in the mng.

Can't keep up with all the programming changes lately on WPRO.

Dan does have a relationship with WTKK and I heard him in the past say it may be his time to move on. He was also pissed off but I did hear him say it.

This is exactly what I wanted. As soon as I heard Matt on the air in the evening to cover the December snowstorm, I knew it would be a good idea. Chalk one up for WPRO. But I have to admit that I'm a little bummed about losing Savage. I would like to at least hear him tape delayed from 9 to Midnight. But chances are they won't do that. Hopefully HJJ will pick him up again.

Agree.They all talk about Micheal Savage.They would move him to a later time slot 8-11 or 9-12 or I'm streching here but move him to "WPRV True Oldies". They air the Yankees so even moving him to his live 6-9 to 790. Wouldnt surprise me. It seems that with the local call in informercials I heard this past weekend on 790.I think it's going to be a dumping ground or an Ok we'll air it to make a few bucks for coffe runs.

Wishful thinking. I'd like to see that too. If Allen goes 6 to 9 or 10, I think the Sarurday time will be brokered. WPRO may need the money to pay for Buddy, Ron, John and Dan. That leaves Saturday listeners in the Lurch, but I'm sure the Money will come Before the Listeners. It always does- Everywhere! lol! Don't get me wrong, I like Farr, he'd carry on in Allens style, but I wonder if WPRO doesn't just give us more Realestate 101 or Bugs are Us.

If WPRO was smart, they'd do what David Benstien did as P.D. , They'd keep 9 to noon on Saturdays for the Bullpen. Matt Allen and Jen Brien were Bullpen. Now, Matt may well be the Night anchor. If WPRO wants to be Moronic, like WHJJ, they'll broker the time. Which is foolish. You want to keep your Bullpen Sharp. If you're the Local talk station and you give that up on Saturday, you may well lose your weekend listeners.

If Matt does wind up on the week night shift, how long could he or even would he still be on Saturdays?

I post very very very rarely. Reason being is, I don't like talking about rumors, I like talking about facts. With that, I have it from a VERY reputable source that Matt will, 100%, have a full-length evening show on WPRO beginning at 6p. The deal is done and from what I understand, will be announced soon. Best news to come around in a LONG LONG TIME!
