Whats up with 94.1fm ?

They are in stunt mode, but they are still airing the regular format. I dunno when they will finally make the switch, but I wouldn't expect it to be any different from what it is now. Check out Radio941.com and go to see what the others are saying.

Is anybody in the country doing 90s now? What this station needs is a good strong format it can lead with. Following other stations for 35 years or more hasn't worked.

It's about time someone goes balls out and does a 90s format. We had the 80s Oldies stations, but the 90s are getting ignored. If someone does 90s, they have to go deeper than "Breakfast At Tiffany's" and "Hold My Hand".

The 90s were bland. Bring back DISCO! According to this clip, disco helped us through a recession! The quote begins at 2:22.

"the Godsend of Disco"!

So was I dreaming this morning?....was it a tease?....was it played prematurely?....I heard a lady on 94.1 mention you are listening to "Frequency 94.1" playing a better mix. A little while later they were back to "Radio 94.1" liners. Anyone else hear this?

This is on their website:

Frequency 94.1 asked, and you answered.

YOU said you want less repetition,
YOU said you want music from different genres and eras,
YOU also want a radio station that is built on your values and lifestyle…

WE GOT THE MESSAGE, AND WE LIKE IT. Frequency 94.1 will continue to build your favorite radio station.

YOUR MUSIC…YOUR STATION…FREQUENCY 94.1

Cumulus could still could be deciding on a new format. I agree it is lame if all they do is change the name and add a few older somgs, then The Frequency is dead already.

I dunno WHAT they're going to do but I bet they slowly make the switch to Frequency. New drops..... John Tesh, is he on in Cincy? They'll add him if not to help improve the quality of life :)
