What's YOUR Favorite Radio Stations Roundup 2012

You can probably also pick up 107.9 KMBI, both KXLY-FM and KMBI are the 2 stations blessed with having their antennas on top of Mt. Spokane both stations have an amazing signal and a good coverage area. KMBI can be picked up into Montana. I will do a potty stop in Ellensburg and see who I can pick up. I am looking forward to going to Safeco Field, and Dick's Drive-Inn for Cheeseburgers. Everyone says I'm crazy, but Dick's is my last stop on the way out of town...I will get 15-20 cheeseburgers to bring home, put in the freezer, and then I nuke two at a time for 2 minutes in my microwave on high, and they are very very tasty. So, I do what I will be having for lunch all next week. YUM!!! And one stop at the Cheesecake Factory to get a slice of Tiramisu Cheesecake to bring on home...that stuff is literally like manna from heaven!!!

Stop at Indian John Hill! I can get 92.5/94.1/98.9/99.9/102.5/106.1 Seattle, but usually it's their last breath of air to the East. Portland is possible as well. Never have gotten KMBI. Only thing I remember getting is the K-LOVE xlator from Sunnyside, K300AP.

Don't know if you heard JJ, but there's a new one up here in the north end, across the parking lot from Top Foods on 220th and 99. Yes, that was the big talk of the town a couple years ago, where to put the new location.

I am headed over to Seattle Sunday to watch the Mariners/Angels game and as soon as I'm close enough to start hearing signals from the Emerald City---usually Ellensburg for AM's and Snoqualmie for FM's...i will dial around and give you my two cents come Monday. Be fun to listen and see what all is happening on the weekend on the radio in my hometown! Can't wait!! Plus those Dick's Cheeseburgers.....that will be the special highlight of my trip! Nothing better in the world then 2 or 3 cheeseburgers, order of fries and a large Coke at Dick's Drive-Inn! A buddy of mine going over with me has NEVER been to Dick's in Seattle----he is in for a treat. There is a Dick's in Spokane, it is greasy, and not particularly tasty--in my humble opinion! Turns out the one in Spokane is NOT related to the ones in Seattle....the menu would tell you that!

Hey, radio geek, you are just as geeky as me! Embrace it.

I, too, love to drive into Seattle and check out what is happening on the radio. Seattle has a colorful past, and perhaps a colorful present. And like you, in between the listening, a Dick's burger is required. Amazing at how much all of us have in common. (Agreed, the cheeseburger is much better than the deluxe, but the "special" is supurb!) BTW, we actually worked side by side for a short time...I don't want to reveal it , but perhaps the name "Dexter" will reveal it, circa 1984). Just a puzzle for you this evening...

If you guys are planning on eating at Dick's on Capitol Hill, give Spunk FM a listen at 101.9 FM. My antenna is in a poor spot (best I can do for the building I live in), but Spunk covers the Broadway area well, west to Queen Anne, I-5 through town, lower U District- Wallingford. For those only dreaming of taking the journey, you can listen to the live stream at www.spunkfm.com, or the recorded streams for mobile at spunkfm.com/mobile.html

I live close enough to Dick's on Capitol Hill that I can smell the fries on some windy days. What can I say... I LOVE DICKS! ya, and the fast food place too! ;)
