I agree, Lance, but it's still maddening that Audacy would kill off a 40+ year station for a Country format that will struggle to get a 2 share. iHeart can clone FM100, but it will never BE FM100, and ultimately, it's just another iHeart Hot AC that sounds exactly like 100 others across the country.Because 102.7 reaches into the parts of the market that WMC-FM does. 101.9 does not cover all of the market, nor does 107.5. They see and opportunity to make a lot more money with 102.7 as a Hot AC once FM100 goes away than they were with Rock 103. They cloned WMC-FM's library at launch and once the 99.7 change takes place they have established themselves as the place for their listeners to move to.
