I guess I did imagine it. Thanks.

590 was home of the Patriots (twice), Celtics (team owned station ) and the Bruins in the 90's.
I can't recall where 590 put the Bruins when there was a Celtics conflict in the early 90's.
I remember 1510 used to put the Bruins on 1330 when there was a Sox conflict.

680 had Sox and Celtics
850 Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics
1030 Pats, Bruins and Celtics
1260 Red Sox and Boston Braves (as WNAC)
1510 Sox and Bruins

850 was the only frequency that all 4 teams called home.

In the WEEI days, Bruins alternately were placed on 105.7 and 1150 during conflicts w/the Celtics. Believe 105.7 stopped airing B's after flipping country, but it may have been earlier.

1510 had the Celtics too, in the early 2000's when it was The Zone. That period is where Max's "quack, quack, quack" expression comes from.

Boston Radio Dial's page about WWZN mentioned how the deletion of WNLC New London helped
1510 let out its signal a bit and pick up some listeners to the southwest of town. "Despite acquiring the rights to Boston Celtics broadcasts and luring big-name talker Eddie Andelman away from format competitor WEEI, WWZN consistently failed to score any ratings success. WWZN was sold...for $20.5 million in September, 2007"

Boston Radio Dial still lists 1510 as WWZN. The WUFC calls came about last Oct.

Interesting package. The four or five note logo is a worthy successor to the four-note logo that WHDH used successfully in its voice of the city days under Herald-Traveler Corp.

It certainly has the Merriman magic, although I wonder who the specific Dallas singers were, I think Abby Holmes was first girl on the package with the "where your friends are" phrasing

Every sing is a legal although it seems the "Boston" had to have been a separate sing on another track unless they did call shotguns separately.

Also interesting is the variation on the Cain-Doyle jingles. I don't recall ever hearing the "and" version on air, if I recall it was usually "with Tom Doyle." I wonder if Jess(justifiably) protected his turf or if management realized that giving Cain an on-air sidekick was bad enough without shared billing.
