WHEB

I just tuned into WHEB and Jen from WHJY in Providence was on. She has yet to make mention that she is filling in for JR. I hope that Jen is just filling in and JR will be back on the air soon.

I just checked the WHEB web site and JR is on the air now; says he's on from 7-12. Since Quinn and Cantera were dumped maybe CC made a switch and JR is now on at night.

Personally I don't think clear channel really cares what the listeners think.

It's hardly limited to CC. Few if any companies care about anything except the bottom line. Ratings only count so they can charge more for spots. If they could make the same money airing infomercials 24/7 they'd do it. Few if any brokered stations show in the ratings, but have decent profits. For example, WUNR Boston has miniscule ratings (usually a zero) but has been consistently very profitable. They don't care if anyone listens or not...they got paid.
