WHEN magic-fm GOES FOR GOOD..........

After a heart beat sfx and a few minutes of christmas music they played a country song with "Bridge" in the lyrics and then made the switch to 100.9 The Bridge "It's all about the variety". Typical mile wide inch deep classic hits station. To include Gun's N Roses...
 
Here is something I would like to know if anyone thinks this might work. Regent's WBZZ 105.7 has had dismal ratings. What if Regent decided to adopt something similar to Magic 590's playlist and call it something close, possibly "Magnificent 105.7". Wouldn't that just tick off Pamal? I am sure that a class B1 FM station would beat out a 5000 /1000 watt AM station. They might even be able to get Jay and Ben to defect to their side!

This is the best said statement all week! This makes the most sense, what does BUZZ 105.7 have to lose? WIN WIN.

I admit, I actually got the original link I posted from the Stream Center website, which is usually reliable, and posted it without trying it first. I would assume the stream on the original link died once the simulcast with WROW started.

So does this mean Magic is no longer streaming on AM 590?
 
I agree with Knickman, Regent should capitalize on the loss of format both music and talk. VanZandt and Donovan would do nicely for Regent on 104.5 and take J & B to do the music side.

It will never happen - but......
 
Local used talent and insest in no way to make ends meet. Moving those folks to another station in the same market unless they owned the high ground already (in which case they wouldn't be interested) is the wrong move!!! Didn't you learn anything from the Chuck and kelly move? For instance making Chuck the PD and midday person for this new adventure makes sure it remains stale at best. Everything has to be new and from outside the market or it loses its luster!
