When Will Lite Flip To All-Christmas, And Who Will Compete With Them?

For the #1 station in NYC, November 1 seems a few weeks early to me.

More like around the weekend of 15th of Nov to me.

I believe that by this time last year, CBS-FM was doing its "Santa Song of the Day" promotion and referring to itself as "New York's Home For The Holidays". So far, there's been no hint of "Ho Ho Ho" on the station this year. From what I remember, the ratings initially took a dip after the all-Christmas flip, but shot up once it got closer to Christmas. So perhaps the best strategy is to wait at least until after Thanksgiving to make any move. Or they could just do what they've done prior to last year and just mix the songs in with their normal playlist. It'd be fine by me.

Maybe 99.1 WAWZ will be the 1st NYC area station to flip.....Their sister station 93.3 WAKW in Cincinnati went all Christmas today.
