Where are they now?

"CUY" stood for Cuyahoga. The river, the country and the owner of the station!

(Richard Eaton, owner of United Broadcasting, lost the licenses to stations in Miami and DC as well as a TV station for things like running lottery numbers and double billing. He also owned, illegally, XERF in Villa Acuña and XESM in Mexico City)

That makes sense, but I was simply using Wikipedia's search of the call letters to see what they pointed to now. Some pointed toward outdated articles, and others either didn't point anywhere or routed back to the 92.3 The Fan article.

Also, I remember the fun that the internet had when 92.3 dropped Jammin' Oldies and was stunting before 92.3 Xtreme Radio debuted (or, shortly afterward). The cleveland.com forums were hopping with wacky "92.3 changes formats to (x)" threads. 2001 was a wild time on the internet, haha!
