I agree that Ted may return to TV, as the irreverent sports anchor. While
no longer cutting edge, he is familiar, and a talented personality. Ted
is too slick, glib, and flippant to succeed Jerry Coleman as the lead
PBP voice. All those things that made him good with Jerry, sealed his
future fate with the Padres. As the sometimes Charger play by play voice,
he was medicore at best. At the Double XX he demonstrates his well tuned
interviewing skills, and observations, yet he lacks the passion needed
in targeting the core sports radio listener. I think KUSI would be
a great fit for Ted.
