Which Station Will Flip To Christmas First This Year In Columbus?

I bet you folks it won't be Sunny 95 this year.It may be one of the CC stations again this year.I would say around the second week of November?Don't touch that dial!

The same station that does it each year 93.3. Clear Channel does it with hot AC, AC and oldies. So I wouldn't be suprised if they played the holiday tunes.

If they do go all-Christmas my guess is that they'll add a fair amount of Christmas music by oldies artists (e.g., Motown), to maintain the oldies vibe to some degree.

I notice Sunny 95 is currently offering two stream options on their website -- Christmas and regular. Anyone know if they've done that in advance of on-air all-Christmas in the past?

Yes they did that this past year .. and I believe even the year before. (when the FM finally flips they flip the roll of the streams... the Christmas web only one becomes AC and the FM stream becomes Christmas)

Interesting.  Is there something on the page itself that gives away the date?

Wonder if they will now start throwing in more of the oldies-type Christmas records, e.g., Motown, or if it will be the same mix as when they were soft AC? Also, wonder if they will keep a stream version of oldies on the website during the holidays, and if so whether it will be a simulcast of WMJI Cleveland as they do overnights (unless MJI itself is also going Christmas, of course).

No just a guess based on their history over the last couple of years, I went back about 10 pages on this site and looked at what was written last year, My guess was off by 1 hour last year.

But that was when they was a AC station (Not a good one) But will they do it this year or will an another CC station (106.7? Possible switch after X-Mas?) do it this year?

Noticed they are now announcing the Christmas option on the air.

Oldies 93.3 WODC has switched to Christmas in Columbus as of 7:01 am!!! They did their usual "hey it's Santa bit..."

First song "It's the most wonderful time of the year" - Andy Williams

I'm really surprised they didn't continue to offer an oldies stream on their website for those who were just discovering the oldies.
