Those commentaries were good, but don't forget that he had a long career before that, working with Bill Heywood at the legendary KOY.

Does anyone have video of Steiger's show on KAZT-TV (and I would assume KUSK-TV before that)? If I recall correctly, it was just him sitting in the station's master control room, in front of the camera. I would love to see that again.
 
I have one (maybe several) I'll have to dig out. He was not always alone, many included Tonya Mock and some guy whose name I can't remember. Could have been the station manager at that time.
