My two cents: Doing live cut-in's for JB&B is not brain surgery. I would have Marsha Gan do the cut-in's and v/t middays. The still need that female presence and Marsha is pretty solid, and has a name in the market. Eliminating Tim Satterfields position would certainly free up some major bucks for CC. Bill Flynn would be missed, but he's burnt in the Triad. I could see CC offering him a much lower salary. That whole building needs the proverbial enema. I just hate to see anyone lose their jobs in today's economy.

THIS round of cuts is gonna be focused more on the sales side. That said...I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the high priced guys like Flynn go in this round. Pencola and Gan's salaries combined aren't half of what Flynn is making. There WILL be cuts to programming today. But the Borg-like assimilation to all things Seacrest won't be today. Salaried promotion assistants, sales assistants, some managers are in the most danger today

Agreed about most being sales and support staff. There will be programming staff cuts, but the sales cuts will outweigh the latter.

Allegedly the programming cuts are to come in April, and a deathly blow in July. I hope not. Already too many unfairly beached...including me!

Some guy on the street told me that Boy was gone too. Apparently they're gonna call it "The Best of 'And'".
