The encoding is based on the facility, not the call letters or name. Do you mean that the coding of the WNYZ signal was discontinued?
This survey was through 11/12, anyway.

WFME was purchased in 1966 for a couple of hundred thousand, when FMs were not worth much.
And today, an FM that is not on the ESB may be worth maybe $35 million give or take, but not $60.
Since the purpose of the 61 Family Station group radio stations is evangalization and ministry, as Kevin said, they are looking for souls, not cume. There is no FCC rule that requires a defined level of listening...

But how much of the station's result in this round may be due to large numbers of people tuning in to listen to the World Series? That's got to be a factor, right? Maybe it's impossible to parse this, but nevertheless I'd like to think that it's due to WCBS doing a great job with their basic programming.
