WHO WILL GO ALL-CHRISTMAS FIRST? WODS OR WROR?

frankfurter said:
Ugh, time to take WODS and WROR off the pre-sets. I understand the appeal here to a point, but I don't think too many people want to hear wall-to-wall Christmas music until just a few days before the 25th. It would make more sense to pepper in holiday favorites as Christmas draws closer. Start with 1 holiday song per hour and ramp it up to 3/4 holiday tunes a week or two out - then go all-Christmas about 7-10 days before the actual day. Why completely abandon the classic hits that contribute to your ratings for 11 months a year, only to drop Christmas music before Christmas day is even over?

If the ratings and revenue work with all Christmas (which it does) AND they can retain their ratings the other 10 1/2 - 11 months, then your argument is moot.

Neither flipped yet? Poss. Monday at start of their local morning shows? Would it be turned on during a
weekend? Or waiting till Monday...dare they wait till after Veteran's Day...?

I'm sorry to report that the in-store music system in Shaw's Supermarkets was playing the occasional Christmas tune today.

Is it only me that finds this thread amusing.

Opens with complaining about Christmas music to be followed by speculation when it all begins.
Not yet, maybe later today, tonight, tomorrow, Veterans Day, pay day, day after pay day.
Prediction---sometime before Christmas.

Rather then continue to complain about something they haven't done yet, why not cheer the fact that they haven't done it? Talk about fellowship of the miserable :p

Holiday music will most likely begin on Monday morning.

I personally cannot wait ;D

Well, it is now November 10, and nobody has gone all-Christmas as of yet. I remember last year WROR and WODS both went on the same day. I don't remember what day it was, but I'm pretty sure it was before today, wasn't it?
