Last night during the Whiner Line on WEEI, someone did a song parody of Silver Bells. Ordway observed it was the first Christmas song parody of the year for them. Michael Holley said something like "they're
already running all holiday music on two stations" or something. Huh? "Well, on at least one of 'em",
Holley clarified. I checked out WODS and WROR and neither are running Christmas/holiday music.
Visits just now to both websites proved they haven't flipped yet--BUT WODS has a contest in which
listeners can pick when they think the flip will happen, and I guess there's a kind of prize to whoever
comes closest. (Kind of like Howie's Death Pool)
Not sure what Holley was talking about. Did he mean a station had flipped already in BOSTON, or is
there a station down in Prov. or something that already flipped? Deck the Halls with Boughs of
Michael Holley.
Maybe he tuned in during the snow a few days back and some station was playing ONE Christmas/
holiday song (Let it snow?) and he thought they had flipped.
In past years it was right around Veteran's Day. (5 days before THAT in '08!)

After Election Day Comes Christmas
(Nov 6, 2008):
>>"Chri$tma$ has 2 s's in it and they're both dollar signs," observed Stan
Freberg in "Green Chri$tma$". Quite true. Earlier today WROR FM 105.7
shifted to an all-Yule format and WODS FM 103.3 quickly followed suit.
