WHOOP WHOOP! I got a VT gig!!

Dylan:
Lord ,,You take it personal, not good for a PD. In regards to jobs;Hello. Have you ever heard of 'EOE'? The majority place ads because of it and fill their files, plain and simple, agree or disagree. They usually have their minds made up,before the ink is dry on who they have hired. Now lets talk about the Virgin Islands briefly,St.Thomas, etc. The murder rate alone beats NYC according to D.O.J. stats. The overall economy is poor (with the EXCEPTION OF A FEW "EXCLUSIVE" RESORTS) and Bangladesh ranks slightly higher. So if you enjoy being where you are and are working, thats fine. Again Channing is a very good talent, and if the bucks are upfront for her and solid, then good for her.

VERMONT.......Kidding...sheesh..VOICE TRACKING..recording spoken words between music selections and spots then wedged in to "make it appear" there is a live in studio announcer, when its really a computer. A lot of stations do that especially over night gigs, and it has put a lot of announcers out of work."

You know something? I've never really been a fan of voice tracking myself either. But I'm the guy who hired Channing and at this point, ALL THE MONEY I HAVE is enough to pay her to voice track at this point. We will be live on the air on August 1st, by January I'm gonna have Channing down here on the air live. I gave her what I could, she took what she needed. I mean, don't be so condensending........you make it sound like nobody here knows what VTing is in addition to giving the impression that stations that Voice Track are cheap............not the case here. And there is so much work in radio these days, any announcer worth his/her salt should have no problem getting work. GEEZ......................don't you think a GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS would have been sufficient?

Dylan:

Do you know if Jonathan Keyes Coen still owns and operates WKJC? I think hes on one of the virgin islands. I think he calls his station Isle.

He owes me money.

Jonathon Cohen is on St. Croix and owns MONGOOSE 104. You can find it on the web. It also has a link to Jonathon's email. I believe in addition to MONGOOSE 104, Yes he also owns Isle 95, although I THINK it's now called SUNNY 95. Hope this helps.
