Why Are LA and SF FM Stations Mostly Over-Powered?

Funny. Lake Shore Drive and Nanagosa Trail are sort of the same street, different place, on the same lake, Lake Michigan. The closest street to the shore line. I bet at least one person travels both streets on a fairly regular basis. Kind of like when Christopher Reeve (RIP) "drove" from Chicago to Mackinac Island in "Somewhere In Time". Only it wasn't Mackinac Island in the movie. And Lake Huron is really the same lake also. Rememberhearing WJJD in that movie, Chicago people and DXers?

I have some former classmates and a neighbor who recently built a house up near Nanagosa Trail.

I remember that area well, before it was built up. My sister has a nearly 100 year old house on Omena Point, on the picturesquely named "Fire Lane 8" not far from Suttons Bay; it's beautiful for about 3 or 4 months of the year.

... I asked about structures in Omena and Suttons Bay somewhat tongue in cheek, as the year-round population is well under a thousand.
