Anyway, let me get back into seriously speaking.
The fact that they haven't talked about certain issues yet does not mean that they are never going to talk about it. Those topics may be things they are planning to discuss in the future. It's also possible that they did talk about it once but some people missed it, and missing or not hearing or seeing something does not make things mean that it never happened. It simply just means you didn't know it happened.
THE PROBLEM WITH SOME TALK SHOW HOSTS
What's interesting is that on the show I'm listening to right now, a psychologist, or someone somewhere in that line of field, was discussing why certain talk show hosts don't "get along" with their listeners, and why people like Rush Limbaugh or Hannity come off as angry. The answer he (the psychological speaker) gave was right on point. What happens is because people like Rush Limbaugh are very passionate in what they have to say and they get frustrated when people just don't seem to (or want to) understand or get certain things, regardless of how difficult or simple it is. Example: Imagine trying to explain that something you're buying that you've wanted forever and just now found was on a shelf that said half off, but when you got to the register, the cashier just wouldn't believe you, or chose not to believe it because she/he wanted a commission, but you knew for a fact that a sticker said "half off original price". You offer to go back with the cashier to show them the proof but the cashier refuses to leave the register. You will get angry at that cashier, and basically the entire store, even though logically the building itself and the cashier you're speaking with really had nothing to do with it. You'd probably even want to repeat yourself a few times a result, but as a result of your anger, the cashier is not going to want to listen or hear anything else you have to say because now she just sees you as an angry person. Therefore, nobody gets anywhere and anything you say to the cashier will come across as hateful speech, and everything the cashier says to you will be nonsense because according to you the cashier doesn't know what she/he is talking about. One person is speaking based on the facts they know. The other person is also speaking on the facts they know as well, but they both are not judging based on the same facts, regardless of whether or not either one of them are just choosing to see / not see certain things for whatever reasons, or even if any of them are fully right.
But then, go back and watch Family Guy, and watch them say/show the EXACT SAME THINGS (which most people don't even detect) in a subtle, slick way, and the same thing that created passionate anger on a talkshow pass by as "haha man that ---- is hilarious! He's a fool for that, but it's so true though!"
It's all about presentation, and your ability to communicate to various personalities, in addition to how open or closed minded the receiver may be for whatever reasons.

THE IRONIC TWIST
So what does this have to do with force feeding kids? Well, let me put it to you this way: Lets say you have a kid that likes to always say they are full. Yet as soon as it's time for bed time or to go out, it's "I'm hungry" or they just have a habit of thinking that they can waste food. Do you just sit there and say "well ok, the child said he's full, so..."
(Hmmmm..... But a minute ago, I just said common sense and logic would tell you that if he says he's full, then he must be full, and everyone should just know that!!)
Yes, maybe... maybe that is the logical common sense way to put it, but ONLY in certain situations! What seems like logic and common sense isn't
ALWAYS the best choice in every situation, although many times it appears to be the most sensible thing. Next time you have trouble in a relationship, try logically trying to convince to your ex mate all the reasons why they should still love and feel attraction for you based on common sense, and see how far that gets you!
This is why people have the freedom to decide for themselves, and regardless of how sensible something may seem or how much evidence you have to back it up, it may not be the most sensible thing to all people in all cases, depending on how people choose to look at it. In many ways, I still agree with Mac & Gaydos, but someone who sees something in a different way may not agree with them.
The truth is, there are things in life that are just fact or simple common sense, regardless of how superficial the laws we created behind them to make it this way are. However, in reality, outside of our laws and limitations, it is simply different strokes for different folks. Which one is more important? Truth or Reality? & Why? Hmmmm......
MAC & GAYDOS
..And this is pretty much what the Mac & Gaydos show boils down to. They themselves even play devils advocate with each other and many times try to present two sides of a story.

Why can't a radio show--like Mac and GAYdos for example--discuss the importance of child proofing your home... keeping sharp objects and dangerous household products/chemicals out of reach. If only someone on the radio had the wisdom to tell me to check the batteries in my smoke detector every six months.
God, the wealth of fascinating topics is endless; who invented the question mark? why don't we go on daylight saving time here in Arizona (what do you think of daylight saving time? give me a call!), mother's day is coming up, if you had your own language, how would you spell "mom"?
I don't know about you, but if I did such bad radio every day I would want to wear a disguise when I cashed my paycheck.
Whether or not you fully agree with the statements and questions there, you have to admit that in reality, those are some good points....
