Why?Why?Why?

Quote:

"NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt.....used to run Showtime, a network known for taking risks."

The head of this new creation is Bryan Fuller, who previously created Pushing Daisies, which according to the link, "...walked the line between whimsy and drama."

Earlier this century, Fuller also created the very different Dead Like Me, which ran on Showtime, which was run by...you guessed it.

A vendor and a network head who've done business with each other before. That's probably why, why, why.

I always like Jerry O'Connell, so I would be willing to give him a shot.

But I think the 60s show is so classic, it'd be hard to do a decent remake of it.

Since we're recycling old 60s sitcom premises...why not a new My Mother The Car with Roseanne Barr doing the voice of the car--which, instead of the "1928 Porter" Ann Sothern voiced in the original, would be a 1976 AMC Pacer?
