WIBC is making some subtle changes...adding in the term 'Depend On It', utilizing the ABC news sounder, having the image voice produce a lot of the stuff that was done live in the past...adds a nice polish to an already good news talk station.

Yes, I am an "old fart" that still likes AM!

RDO said:He was wanting to change the way we did traffic here to be more like Chicago. "25 minutes from the Post Office to Central..."

I like Jon Quick, but have always preferred the fast paced sense of urgency that WLW conveys. I welcome this with open ears.lukewarmcoffee said:Wanna know what WIBC will sound like by the Fall book? Just listen to WLW. Alan Furst and Randy Michaels tweaked The Big One back in the day. You'll soon be hearing upbeat tag-team newscasts with shorter and sharper actualities, better use of reporter packages and highly produced, fast-paced promos and promo/sounders INSIDE the newscasts, etc. In other words, WIBC will wake-up from boring John Quick-induced slumber and become a station that's listenable.
