So many posts. So much discussion. The current generation of young people has never heard of it. Let 1070 go to sleep.
They're 2 weeks away from hearing of it...the question is...will they like it?

What's the lineup so far? mornings...midday...pm drive...evenings...weekends?

It's all on wibc.com. Jake and Terri in the mornings (5-8:30) followed by Garrison 8:30-11:30, news from 11:30-noon, then Rush (12-3), Dave and Joe (3-6), Steve Simpson (6-8), Mike McConnell (8-11)(syndicated from WLW in Cincy) then Noory overnites (11-5). I can't imagine them staying with Jake in the mornings though...I think they need someone more dynamic. IMHO

If Dave the King Wilson still has a show, zzzzzzzzzz indeed.

Mike McConnel is okay but what about Cunningham?

my favorite program on wibc is amcoast to coast.unfortunatly since I work days I hardly get to listen to it.

limbaugh will be on from noon to 3.I didn`t realize he was on a 1hour delay now.

what's changing? wow what a lineup!
Sadly, the best and most dynamic personality WIBC has is the hardware guy who does the Saturday home improvement show. He's easily the smoothest and most entertaining host they have. What does THAT say for their lineup?

Hey Chief,

Bill Cunningham will be on Sunday nights from 10 pm-1 am.

The current generation of young people has never heard of it.

Where are you getting this information? Just because younger people aren't listening doesn't mean they've never heard of it.

With the world of "Podcasts" now, there are a myriad of options for people that want an alternative to music... who wants to listen to Rush Limbaugh?

I agree about the Sullivan show on Saturday mornings.

I thought they were making changes? Improvement?
Rush? Please....!

Same stuff. Different frequency.

I hope they use this opportunity to freshen the sound of the station.

Originally they planned on swapping Garrison and The King, which I thought was a smart programming move (short of firing The King, that is). What happened? Did Garrison pitch a fit? Did Dave not want to get up that early? Who whined and who caved? C'mon, I know someone on here has the inside scoop.

Well, notice how the average age of the voices on the air is going down...

Will WIBC give away all those avails they now have in the afternoon for a syndicated show? After all, that is the only reason they keep Wilson on the air. WX, Traffic and live sponsor mentions along with the ability to play more commercials.

If NOBODY is listening to Wilson, why is Emmis keeping him in afternoon drive, when on the original shift to 93.1 schedule
they had him on the air from 8:30 to 11:30 AM? The company is not shifting stations around to lose money or to lose ratings. People like Wilson (but maybe not the radio critics on this board.)

I Dont think it had to be Dave Pitching a Fit because he use to be getting up early when he worked over on Q95 when he was on the bob and tom Show and he also is up early on sundays for the 500 and 400 along with 1pm Colts games for the WIBC colts Pre pre Game Show at 8am
