Z101 is not the wild 101 it once was, so the demand for hip hop is very much limited, and may be restricted to the "true" top 40 feel of today's hip hop at best.
It would have to fit into the current sound of Z to make things work.

Perhaps "hip pop" is more the sound that will make it to this new Z, if at all.

It's better to bug Flow 93.5, but those days may be numbered too...

i doubt any enforcement of any kind would be any issue.

most likely, this "taylor K" was like AJ_Hammer, started
at kiss, jumped ship to at the time, wild101, and
then went to bigger and better things...

either that, or "taylor k" will be re-invented, as
"hootie mcBoob", or some trendy name, and
we will be discussing this over,and over, and over, and...

(maybe the commute across the rainbow bridge, was

It's more likely that someone at Z101 has been made aware that the CRTC views the station as Canadian, not Universal. They've already skated on thin ice with regards to Can-con, serving a Canadian audience, and having too much imported talent. Perhaps someone needed a reminder.

Their Can Con is currently being well maintained (ie two barenaked ladies tunes in the same hour.)

I don't think there's any CRTC issues here now.
If anything, Revenue Canada, or some other department *could* step in for any further investigation, if necessary...

My favorite is Simple Plan "i'm just a kid" or "untitled" or "welcome to my life" or "perfect" or "crazy" or any other simple plan song cause they're THAT GOOD!!! haha don't say anything about me knowing all those songs it's only cause they play them alllll the time

I do like to listen to all stations, but i think that station, wannabe z-100, would thrive better as something else. I agree that the name and "image" of the station needed to be changed, but honestly nothing changed. same voice guy and girl, same sound, same jocks and same bad canadian pop music. anyway, my sarcastic simple plan post could apply to avril lavigne, bnl, alanis morrisette, finger 11 and the very popular keshia chante. haha..sorry
