AM Radio is such an outdated and obsolete concept anyways, and the increasing noise and interference isn't helping. The formats that kept AM Radio on life support are migrating to FM at a fast pace. I believe we will see AM Radio dissapear from new cars over the next 10 years.

The migration of traditional AM formats such as news, news/talk and sports to FM has so far avoided the big 3 markets of NY, LA and Chicago but it'll get there eventually. It's inevitable!![]()

On the plus side, A.M. will be a hobby broadcasting band in a few more years!
But we can hear it here in R.I.! Not strong but it's there. I don't think it gets ratings in Providence but WFAN & WCBS do. I think WINS too. My fiancee's a fan of Big Blue. Next time we head to The City, we're planning to head over to the new stadium.radioguy39nj said:N1WVQ said:But we can hear the Jets in Southern New England!Sorry, I had to do that!

The Jets' flag, WEPN, can barely be received in New Jersey! Don't worry, I'm a Giants' fan!![]()

weekdays from Sunrise Tom Joyner Morning ShowN1WVQ said:I remember seeing WILD with a 2.2 back in the '90s. I'm in East Providence so I can't usually hear WILD because on WPMZ splattering over. What are they running daytime? I guess it's brokered time? I've heard it's not classic soul anymore except the weekend. Is this correct?
So it's a radio station in a can. If I remember, I'll try to check after 6 tonight as well as the weekends but even in Taunton the signal isn't that great. Thanks for the heads up!LAUROJRM said:weekdays from Sunrise Tom Joyner Morning ShowN1WVQ said:I remember seeing WILD with a 2.2 back in the '90s. 4pm-Sunset. I thought they were playing Classic Soul/Classis R&B? (with no radio hosts)
