Will Burge, T.J Zuppe fired from WKNR

Anyone know how long the "no compete" clauses are for these guys? Didn't seem like Fedor was off the air very long between WKNR letting him go and when he started at The Fan.

I doubt any of them have ever signed one, with the exception of Roda. I don't think anyone in Cleveland is tearing down the door to hear what people like Burge or Zuppe have to say. They are a dime a dozen type of talents. Can easily be replaced. Only real issue is the time it takes for listeners to get behind a new host/personality.

Burge and Zuppe weren't established enough for KNR to worry about no-compete clauses.

Chris Fedor went to 92.3 The Fan just days after he was let go...ditto Dave Ramos when he was cut by WTAM (anybody ever figure out what that was about?

A little update:

TJ Zuppe has just signed on full time at 92.3 The Fan as a producer/reporter/update guy.

Will Burge is now a writer at bleacherreport.com covering the Browns, and is a frequent guest/contributor on 92.3 The Fan.

Kenny Roda has become essentially the Jay Leno to Bruce Drennan's Johnny Carson on "All Bets Are Off" over on STO, serving as the primary fill-in. He also does some work for newsnet5.com and on WEWS as a Buckeyes analyst on their "Sports Saturday" show. He also (as far as I know) still is the rinkside/locker room reporter for Monsters TV games on FS Ohio and WUAB.

Michael Reghi hosts the Sunday night Browns produced postgame show "Browns Overtime" on STO, and does play by play for MAC football (whose syndicated games are seen here on channel 5).
