WIND finally gets a local weekday show

This is perfect. Feder posted the ratings today. WIND is dead last! This will give the Big "J" the opportunity to prove EVERYONE wrong , and how he will take a small po-dunk AM station and put it on the map. I think he made the 2nd worst possible choice of his radio career, the 1st being his unpredictable move to WJMK for 2 months, that was just plain stupid and childish.

Mark my words kids. US99 is in talks right now for re-inventing the "morning" show. Our favorite nascar nerd, Rockin Ray, or whatever he is called this week is failing miserably. He is a sidekick, not a frontman like he wishes to be. The average 'country" music listener is not going to put up with this crap for long. Country folk are not too smart, but they know what they like and they liked the Big J.

Sooooo, place your bets kids. Here is how it's gonna go down. By the next book, the Big J is going to contemplate his failing career move and work his way back to the US-niner where he has a loyal fan base. (for now) And stumblin Ray is going to be replaced, unless he can pull talent out of his A$@ quick. Now this is good radio!!

Nah. Never mind. Not worth the time or effort.

Actually...WIND isn't dead last. Feder only posted the first 30 of the 44 Chicago market stations. There are several stations rated below WIND. Anyway...Howell is getting paid quite nicely at WIND...enough so that US99 wasn't appealing anymore. After you've been in the business for a while, it's fun to take on a new challenge and watch it grow...I think thats what Big John finds appealing at WIND.

The Big J took a HUGE paycut from CBS for this little move. I know this for a fact. And WIND is dead Last!

Ahhh the sound of silence..that's WIND!!
