wkpw 90.7 signal

Channel 6 made it tough to use a Horizontal/Vertical antenna on high school stations. It was still possible but required a 100:1 power reduction. In WKPW's case, they were able to use 4400 watts at their height (160'?) as long as they were Vertical only. Once channel 6 went away, any educational band station that was operating with Vertical only to protect WRTV (looks like WEEM has always had Horizontal & Vertical) should, in theory, be able to upgrade to Horizontal & Vertical at the same power level. Thanks for the tip on Ivy Tech...I'll pass it along to Mike.
