With WKRD getting sold of out CC Louisville. what are the odds CC Moves the 790 format over to the more powerful 1080 and sends WKJK down to 790. If i was CC I would keep the sports format and send off the secondary talk station to 790
MikeStandardsFromIndiana said:that might be true but it didnt say which WKRD was being trusted off on the front page of radio-info it just said Louisville WKRD LOL

I'm doing my own engineering thing.

Hey, the happiest engineers I know are working free lance. I wish you well. And hope you don't have to deal with any pain in the neck interim PDs.
skippertthomas said:As and ENG, I would have to say both 1080 and 790 have equal coverage in close, but 790 is far more open and not as super directional as 1080, even as close as the north end of Scott, Clark and Floyd Counties on the Indiana side of the river, due to 1070 in Indy....Night coverage is far more an advantage to 790...
The King Bee said:How's this...Clear Channel sells WKRD-AM to WAKY-FM's owners, who change the calls to WAKY-AM, simulcast the Oldies (and keep the Louisville Bats and U Of L major sports) on 790. WAKY's back on 790!!
And then I woke up...
