While WECO does have a CP to decrease its power from 3500 to 1650 Watts, it will increase its HAAT from 771 to 1040 feet; so I'm guessing there will be little if any decrease in coverage. Also the new tower will be closer to Wartburg (and Knoxville). I see WECO's biggest problems being the translators. In addition to Blount County, there is also a translator on 101.3 running the full 250 watts in the Oak Ridge/Clinton area (about 25 miles South of Wartburg) How that ever happened, I'll never know.
