I seriously can't get over how boneheaded a decision it was to flip Classic Hits for more of the same Katy Perry, Pink, John Mayer, Lady Gaga, and countless other acts we can hear on over half the stations on the dial. Oh, well. Their mistake will be WBNJ's gain ... definitely keep an eye out for them in the next book. They might not top the ratings book, but they'll definitely beat Hit & Magic - that's for sure.

My opinion notwithstanding, the ratings for this very strong station are nothing short of abysmal. How this can somehow be sufficient, yet G Rock pulling two or three times the share isn't (as it did most of the time) ... that's completely beyond me. I still think Press will continue to plow on with Hit ... they're doggedly dedicated to Top 40, something I wish they had been with Alternative/Modern Rock.
