WLIT and the Christmas music

next year all stations should do a 7pm-12am marathon of christmas music weekday nights then @ midnight go back to normal music until 7pm

It won't happen! WLIT and other AC stations get a big ratings boost when they go all-Christmas. As long as that's the case, you'll have six weeks of Christmas music in November and December. :)

The good news is that there are always other stations to listen to if you don't like it.

I think it would be good if WLIT and all Christmas music stations kept the spirit alive during the week after Christmas with winter songs like Sleigh Ride and Let It Snow Let It Snow and Winter Wonderland. The change back to regular wouldn’t seem so abrupt and it would add a little holiday flavor to the week a lot of people have off.
Agree 100% with you. Always one of the programming myteries to me as why seasonal songs were purged December 26th! Every station I programmed would play "winter" songs after Christmas for that week. Just made sense and sounded good too!
