Cannon *retired* several years ago, RadioWiz. From WOGL Philadelphia. Went to Florida is what I heard.
That same dusty baritone (no doubt tempered by a few years of healthy living on the golf courses and engaging in golf-cart rage exchanges) did sound a bit long in the tooth, but that indomitable strut was still
very much evident. That street corner conceit sounded as fresh as ever.

In the interim, you are invited to try out Rick Lewis of Top Shelf Oldies for a quite compatible substitute. They're easy to find. And they even have a great chat room.
And the music will FLOOR you. TSO is live every night of the week 8-11 with different hosts each night. All of them are superb.

Lewis is on live Friday nights 8-mid , and (for a while) on Sunday nights 8-11PM with a pre-recorded Top 40 countdown from some unlikely station.
Added bonus if you act now : Rick Lewis will remind you very much, voice-wise, of Bob Shannon from WCBS-FM.
Great job, WLNG ! Thankxs for the ride !
