WLRS/WLRX end simulcast?

Here in Central Indiana When Moody Bible insititute bought then WXXP-97.9 and Then WHUT-1470 took Both Stations dark for almost a month prior to them taking full control of the station. it was one of the rare times you could get WNCI out of columbus ohio all the way over here in central indiana albeit barely unless the dx conditions were out the window

I find it very interesting that nobody seems to even miss the simulcast on 104.3. Talk about DOA. I can't imagine with this apathy toward WLRS in the market that it will exist as we know it for much longer. LRS Fest on Sept. 29th is most likely D Day.

Because wlrs is just a bad station and pretty dumb of radio one to have 2 signals for that station.Louisville is to small to have 2 signals for any station i feel. They should have kept it hip hop.At least it would have made some revenue.

Glad to hear the positive WXBC comment.. Great local and rural radio station run by caring folks who broadcast a 'for profit' in the community's interest.. That's a throw back to better days... :)

I've been hearing spots for LRS Fest on DJX, but I think all references to LRS are removed.

End the simulcast and begin the streaming! I have contacted WLRS about this but they hadn't replied. If the station doesn't stream, no wonder it's failing. I could do a better job than the nincumpoops at Radio One.
