WLTW HD2 Playing Rock-Hopefully Just a Glitch

Apparently it is actually on the air as of today. As I had previously posted, WLTW HD2 is now giving the callsign of the new 4 Times Square translator, W292DV.
Another poster indicated he has actually heard it on the air today.
May 12 is the date the WLTW HD2 is stating they will begin a new format, which will be carried by the translator. Meanwhile, they have been running their previous New York Country format since yesterday.

Watch the new format be the "Coast" format once EMF/K-Love takes over 96.7 FM.

(Wouldn't surprise me if that switch went off on May 12, as well.)

I doubt it. Doesn't the "Coast" sound more like a small market moniker than one for NYC?

That's cutting it pretty close to the May 21 "Rapture" date, don't you think?

Watch WFME's format go to 106.3 and a completely new channel pop up on 94.7 on May 22.

A reminder to fans of country music that may have been enjoying it on WLTW HD2 until it was recently dropped. WALK HD2 on 97.5 in Long Island is still broadcasting continuous country. As WALK has a potent signal, perhaps listeners in parts of Queens can receive it. It can also be heard in southern Westchester County.

I can pick up WALK-FM (97.5 FM) in Queens with a pretty good signal, but I can't get the HD2 station. I just can't understand why Clear Channel is playing games with the radio geeks. I don't think the average listener knows or even cares what is going on with the 106.3 signal. We will have to hold our breath until May 18. :)
