The dots have now been connected. Louie is on 104.3.....1570 and 1600. Pete B. is really Louie

The dots have NOT been connected because they are saying a new format is coming soon on 104.3 and it will not be the simulcast of 1570

Sounds like they are connected to me. It's just no the dots you were looking at.

I've always thought that 104.3 would be a good simulcast partner for WAKY 103.5.

I liked an earlier suggestion of Sports on 104.3. A decent clear signal that covers better than any of the AM signals. I think Yahoo or ESPN would drop an AM in a heartbeat for an FM sports station. Or maybe they simulcast 1450 or 680?

I don't know about 680, but maybe they can partner with Dugan Ryan and simulcast WQKC 1450. This happened before when Cumulus and Dugan got together and the hosts from WTSZ 1570 went to 93.9. Of course Cumulas never gave 93.9 a chance and dropped sports on 93.9 around 9 months later!

Well it seems that soft rock is the new format. Today it's ''Delilah 104.3'' and she is doing promos saying that 104.3 is her new home. :p

Louie 104.3 it is... hopefully it'll be a bigger mix than the original. Heard a promo for Rocky Knight in the Morning.

So far, they've played Journey, Barry White, and Springsteen...

Yeah, I was surprised when scanning the dial to hear someone new in the evening on VEZ. What happened? i tried searching online but couldn't find anything. How long has she been in radio?

Daryn Kagan replaced Delilah in mid to late November.

Here is her web page: http://www.darynkagan.com/index.html

I like the new Louie.... It's mostly 80's with a few 70's thrown in. I also noticed the majority of the songs are up tempo with only a few ballads thrown in here and there... you can almost call it PARTY 104.3.. When I performed at wedding receptions I played most of the songs they've played today... where did he get my playlist!

I wish they had a stronger signal to get into eastern Jefferson County it'sa little noisy, although with the stick in Charlestown, I should be happy with the signal I'm getting.

I heard a promo for Rocky Knight in the morning too, but didn't hear him.. I had to go to work and this station doesn't make it through the walls.

I'm just waiting to hear a promo for Troy Roebuck afternoons on Louie 104.3!! Wouldn't that be a hoot!

Several stations have dropped Delilah within the last year or so. Atlanta's WSB-FM recently dropped Delilah because her soft music approach no longer matched their uptempo format. Our neighbors, WYXB/Indianapolis and WRRM/Cincinnati, have also dropped Delilah's show and replaced it with local content. She is still doing well in many major cities including New York, Chicago and Seattle.

I like what I've heard so far on Louie 104.3 (except Delilah :p). I just wish the signal would be better. Even downtown, the stereo light on my car radio comes and goes! At home, I have to listen in mono on my stereo for a clear signal. Hopefully they will be able to stream online soon :)

The problem with 104.3 downtown is the transmitter sites of 102.3 is at 4th and York, while the transmitter of 103.9 is at 5th and Main.

That greatly affects every station in that general frequency range: 101.3, 103.5, and 104.3 are practically wiped out.

Even 103.1 has some issues downtown, and they're shooting 50KW downtown from 10 miles away.

Not to mention the reflections that the buildings cause. All of the RF downtown tends to desense any receiver.

With Delilah, she plays her own songs... With Daryn (or John Tesh), the local station play songs from their playlist.... The station have a little more control.
