No Seltzer, I am not an "older" listener unless you think early 30s are old. I happen to have taste in music and I think most other people in my age group do. Not to say that Channel 106.7 has no taste, but what 25 to 35 year old is going to listen to a corporate dictated reel of 200 songs over and over and over when they can plop 3,000 songs on their I-Pod or listen to satellite/internet stations with playlists of over 1,000 songs. The only terrestrial radio stations 25 to 35 year olds care about listening to are cool, experimental college stations like WXPN. And whose fault is that but the corporate bigwigs who have watered down the playlists and made for BORING radio. I'll respect Channel 106.7 when I hear at least a thousand songs with some deeper, more experimental tracks. At least Mix had a generally wide playlist with a format not heard a million other places. And the argument that 25 to 35 year olds don't listen to Mix-type music: baloney. I'm familiar with a college radio station and know the advisor of it through someone else. What's interesting is he says he can't seem to find any kids who play modern music. They all want to play the classics! I wonder why? Looks like today's kids are actually wising up to the fact that there is little good pop music out there.
