I'm the one who posted the part about P&S helping the community. How many tons of food have they raised in the last 10? years? 1000 pint of blood last summer? That blood drive was a mad house. The Red Cross had never seen anything like it but, they got over 1000 pint of blood in one day in one place, and I got a cool tee-shirt, a pint of Gadzooks! ice cream and a pint glass.

And Pierre, raising money for the van last year and hobbling to the Acmes every Saturday for the coat drive (when he should be resting his broken leg)

I think this is great that they are actively involved with the community but it does sway my opinion of their show. Or should I say this bribe will not work!

They're TOLD to do community service, just like they're told to keep quiet. B*TCHES!

Old as dirt post? Yes. Am I bored to death? Yes. NOW....P&S were "TOLD" to do community service? UmmmmmmmNO!!
I was a Y100 listener when Preston,Marylyn and Steve did thier first show and every day on so long as my radio picked up Y100. One of those days was the one that an on-air call evolved into an idea to help people in the Philly area and somewhere along the line the idea to camp out in a parking lot was voted in as the winner. It was spontaneous. Or if it WAS acting it was better than the writers come up with, you just can't script how they were in the early days, when nobody but us Y100/WDRE misfits liked them. Alot of the regular events they have now started as a silly gag or an I-Dare-You type deal. IMO nothing now beats the original Months-Of-Stunts/Kill Casey series.

And they're going to be sleeping out in the parking lot again this week to collect food. If you are a listener or if not, bring some food out to Plymouth Meeting, PA on Chemical and Gravers Roads and help some people in the Philly area who have less than a lot of us

Bump this thread!!!

Given the current situation... the entire staff at Wmmr deserve a giant THANK YOU. What they are doing this week transcends any other radio bullcrap. I dont listen to them, but what they are doing is spreading like wildfire.

Keep up the good deed guys!! ;D
