I remember when the word a$$ could be said. But it tends to get edited out of pop and hip hop songs. But you will still hear that word not edited out in a Matchbox 20 song and a couple others.

Classic rock tended to get a free ride (no pun intended, Edgar Winter) for the longest time, what with everything from Pink Floyd not settling for "bullsh*t" in "Money," to The Who asking, "Who the f*** are you?" These days, such lines are either edited, overdubbed, or yanked altogether. Still, there is the occasional station that leaves in the "fa***t" line from the album cut of Dire Straits' "Money For Nothing."

Does Country 92.5 edit the song "Toes by Zac Brown Band" where in the song it goes "toes in the water, ass in the sand" As some country stations edit out the word ass.
