Glenn, I am unable to locate your e-mail address and my filing system for your snail mail address is also in complete disarray. Forward the address !
Now, for those of you who don't know Glenn. . .he is a very talented radio guy who should be programming a full service/adult contemporary or an oldies station at the very least. In fact, 20 years ago at WGLI (AM), Babylon, he was the first Program Director who actually had an ear for audio ! See, I was from the school of 'lots of loud' and very heavy compression where Glenn was more interested in the actual tone quality.
Now, here it is 20 years later and I have finally backed off the processing and made little WRIV sound good. But I digress.
Glenn also saw the shift in audience before most and tried to make WGLI respond to that. I am sure that if he had more support from management (and perhaps a less restricted directional pattern), he would have restored that radio station to its previous glory.
I am glad you're still in the game and hope you and your family are well.
