before you start telling me about "everyone else I talk to doesn't like hearing them over and over either", until you and the "everyones" comprise more than 50% of the audience, I'm not swayed by the argument.
I'm not going to argue what you've written above. But I will still say this, regardless of the ratings, regardless of the markets, regardless of this and that, WOGL has the better playlist of any major market classic hits station from NYC to L.A. It's evident what they are doing works, averaging a 5.6 since the beginning of the year. Call them a holdout, it still works and works well.
If L.A.'s residents are content in hearing over and over 275 played to death, recycled 70's and 80's classic hit radio standards, then so be it. They have no choice. Real music likers know better.
