Wolf howls all the way to #1...

#1

my statement was not meant as a diss to The Wolf- but Nashville has a history of stations having a great month or two (KDF can testify), then falling back to reality. Just saying one great month can be encouraging, but not a victory.

Do top 3 25-54 consistently over a year's time and THAT is the big-time.

Tooting his own horn?

Didn't anyone notice that there's something suspicious about the screen name "Leiujack"? It's a spin on "Lujack" a famous Chicago DJ (Where's Sebastian now? Chicago) and of course the "jack" reference (Sebastian's at "Jack-FM 104.3 in Chicago.)

But hey, there's nothing wrong with that. John did a great job with The Wolf. The station IS sounding great, as is WSIX. Nashville really does have great country radio right now.

Detective,

Let's examine the evidence here. A ratings and ego-driven industry such as radio, where I-told-you-so is often rubbed into naysayers' faces, where ratings success is flaunted over other stations and those who predicted doom and gloom. Finally an original thread post that uses industry lingo and credits the staffers using a veiled alias. Nah, never would happen in radio (yeah, right).

The Wolf did a great job. Congratulations to them. Let's see how this trend continues. I am also curious to how much autonomy Mr.
Sebastian will have in Chicago with a seemingly dictated format such as Jack.

Why the heck would I "hope the wolf can keep howling" unless I worked there?

Yay, corporate entity that means nothing to me!!!
