This area is so rich in American History dating to the pre revolution. Fricks Lock was a really neat place as a kid. Used to ship furniture, coal and farm goods to Philadephia, then to the South beginning in the 1820's. My Uncle lived in Congo, a Pennsylvania Dutch settlement. They're just small, unincorporated named communities that are parts of larger townships. These are prized areas to the people of the locale. Don't mock them, no more than Cold Spring Village or the alleged "Historic" Village of Smithville, put together by ABC Television in the late 70's. NINETEEN seventy's. Some history. www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fricks_Locks_Historic_District Fricks Lock died with Limerick Power. They diverted the water to the plant.

WPAZ to make a "big announcement" at 12 noon Monday 10/24. Also launching a daily 9AM-1PM "Community Speaks" program and adding more local news, sports, interviews, community info.

Has any station, anywhere, set the world (or in this case, the community) on fire using "The Buzz" as its nickname?

Not what I would have selected, but I wish them well.

It's WBZH Pottstown "The Buzz". new website wbzh.net is up. The old WPAZ website redirects to this site. New Facebook page coming. Adding more community programming during the day 9am-4pm, retaining previous evening and weekend shows.

WBZH is on Internet only (wbzh.net) since Friday evening when their backup transmitter went down. They've been on backup since the lightning strike several weeks ago. Their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/WBZHRadio) notes that they are undergoing transmitter maintenance this weekend.
