From buying and selling stations, I can assure you, without the real estate, it isn't worth much.

I think we're seeing to different operating philosophies. One who works in the realm of stand alone and an attempt at super community service. The other in the realm of aggregation and leverage and brokered pay to play.
Since I would be coming in from the world of stand alone (if I could afford that), I probably tend to feel more comfortable with the Bohach model because that's my paradigm. And my heart.

Good comment. The aggregation would allow me to purchase for cash and not have undo financial pressures while the format cooks. In this case, the station would have to be programmed local. I am not convinced that it would work due to what i mentioned earlier about listeners migrating to radio that broadcast from the largest market in the area.
Someone did make a low ball offer but, not 100K.

Doesn't look like PFB's tower to me. I've climbed it before.
Cincinnati Full Time AM Station
Excellent city coverage of Cincinnati with owned studios and transmitter site.
This station provides the opportunity for turnkey ownership in an dynamic major market at an extremely attractive price.
PRICE REDUCTION---NOW ASKING $695,000
I scanned it too quickly. You are spot on. That site behind the church and shopping center is an owned site. 695 would cover his purchase price and his losses in operating it.
It's WCVG.
