there is nothing funnier than someone you posts on a message board that people who post on message boards are stupid.

this guy, bashing people for giving their opinion, only to end his post with 'just my opinion.'

given those two examples, i can tell you this guy DEFINATELY works in radio. probably in a management position at clear channel hartford. they seem to operate with that type of logic.

yes, i work in radio, and not only CAN i do better, but i actually do ... better, every single day.
 
OK Then..... So then send your best aircheck to PLR and lets see if you can DO better. I am sure that they could save money if they hired you to do the morning show (from what I've surmised in this thread). Then we can compare #'s and see who is truly better. Then again, with the way the corporate suits actually run things, who knows........

honestly, i don't think they would save much money on me. plus, i'd rather not leave my current gig.
regardless, last i saw their numbers were slipping as it is.
 
I worked in radio for 20 years. I know I can do better if I were blind folded and had to gum the words. Those two totally unfunny goonballs should be working in Casper, Wyoming Market #301 or better yet toss them over the Canadian border to Saskatoon. Those people can fully appreciate their idiotic yuck yuck jokes. ::)

You come off like a typical corporate lackey. FYI 2 U Chaz & AJ came from doing mornings at WRCN in Riverhead, Long Island. If they were so hot on the air in the Nassau/Suffolk #18 market, why come to New Haven, Ct market #113????
And if you say it's for more money that's garbage. They were blown out of RCN cause they sucked!
 
WRCN's primary market is ranked #263: Hamptons/Riverhead. It is split off as a sub market of market #18: Long Island as a whole, which itself is a sub market of #1 New York. East End stations may make the Long Island book, but they don't cover most of the island's population to compete island-wide the way WALK, WBLI & WBAB do.

It's not all about market size. There can be big people in small markets and small people in big markets.

Bottom line is Spaz & BJ could have stayed in Long Island if they were good on the air.
They weren't and PLR happened to be looking for a new morning show. I believe that Spaz
worked at PLR doing nights in the 80's? Nothing like coming back to cozy Ct radio.

I had a feeling that you were a disgruntled former radio person....... that would explain all the negativity.... and the jealousy...... Makes sense now......
 
I'm just not sure Cha and AJ can survive another bad book considering the amount of money they make. Last book they were down across the board. Cox isn't going to pay these guys six figure salaries to continue to fall in the ratings.

Doesn't take away from the fact that the PLR morning show is a broadcasting abortion.
You don't have to work in radio to realize that. Two eardrums can figure that out.
 
If Spaz & BJ each pull in $150k a year then the management Cox Incommunicado in Georgia are total buffoons! PLR needs a complete format overhaul. Boring radio for boring people. Same basic song rotation for the past 20 years. When will Cox ever learn?
