WRQQ's ratings almost doubled!!!

I continued typing after "touché", but erased it. The only thing I wanted to add is to your comment about working 20 years at the same station. That's a rarity, especially with a company like Clear Channel. Unfortunately, it doesn't say a thing about your talent or your worth to the company. And that's not a slam, that's just the way it is. You are obviously good at what you do. But if CC can find someone to do it cheaper, regardless of doing it better, you are out the door. My best advice is: when/if a raise comes your way, turn it down. Again.
 
Having sat next to Romer for a couple of years at CC, he's not only good at what he does, but probably the only one who knows what he does. And he's quite aware of how corporations operate. From my experience there, not much chance of a raise. Maybe a cut, or more hours added, but not a raise.
They, for the most part, treated me okay over there. They paid me and I did the work.There were things I would have done differently...but that wasn't what they paid me for and didn't ask my opinion and that's okay.
 
Fireworks ~ do you have a problem with CC or anyone who must have fired you from CC, so you take it out on anyone that has ever darkened the CC building. I am not a fan of Crapulass or Chitadel, but I don't bash anyone that works there.
 
Go back and read the beginning of the thread. It was Chris who started with the "holier than thou" attitude. Someone made a suggestion, and Romer comes back with some crap about clichés. So I butted in with the truth, and I get called on it? WTF???
