BTW, It was me who heard the test. The signal was the same as the original up here in Warrior. I have not heard WRTR test on 105.9 yet, Id assume that is coming Tuesday night, as per the FCC filing, WRTR has to test after WENN.
Also, a little birdy told me The X is moving to the new tower in the coming weeks.
P.S. WZRR is already coming out swinging, and RTR isn't moving to town for 2 more days. Their latest promo stated "high atop red mountain, overlooking the magic city" " W Z R R BIRMINGHAM". Note: Even though RTR is based in Tuscaloosa, their new signal is over twice that of The X's current signal and is many miles northeast, so it will very much cover Birmingham. Clear Channel already did in Cox's Oldies format with Magic...Emminent domain, anyone?
Edited by Sab on 08/30/05 07:06 AM.
