Rumor has it that Bryan Schock, who came in from San Diego to take the gig as 101.9's music director, is checking out and moving back to Ess Dee.
After happily chugging the punch for a year, he's now come to the realization that RXP is a lost cause, and there's no possible hope for a turnaround.
No need to wonder what's next for the New York Rock Experience, however: Leslie Fram, the station's PD, will most likely take over the MD tasks. And until ESPN gets the price that it wants for the 101.9 frequency, the station will continue to limp, drool, and suffer through '09.
