WRXP & WXRK : Who Will Win?

exactly, which is why CBS has the perfect opportunity to bring WNEW-FM to 102.7 again and transplant the WXRT playlist here.

This is one of the bones of contention I've been having all along. What difference does it make if such a format is placed on 102.7, just because WNEW was there long ago, or on any other frequency? I don't think more people, WNEW's former listeners included, are more likely to listen to such a station on 102.7 versus 92.3 or anywhere else. This attachment we're having to former dial positions and callsigns is needless and takes away from the real meat and potatoes of the discussion.
