"Isnt that an analog channel..." no, digital channels can and are numbered anything you want.
If you watch channel 2 on a digital box, you are NOT watching 54-60 MHz, you are watching a digital channel.
"I get nothing but static..", yep thats what digital looks like on an analog TV.

I can confirm that RTV will be launching at 6PM tonight, July 1. After a false start this morning with the kid's programming, we have the bugs ironed out.

I live in Northern New Jersey, just noticed yesterday i get this station on channel 43 on DirecTv 8)

Now if it has shows on more then the 6 hours a day, that would be great

I turned on WSAH tonight at 11pm and I see there is an infomercial airing instead of Magnum PI. Did WSAH give up on RTV already?
 
It looks like the 11pm hour of programming has been eliminated. So now we're down to only 5 hours of RTN programming per day. It's too bad RTN couldn't find a real affiliate that is actually committed to showing the network. I wouldn't be surprised if RTN is completely gone from WSAH by the end of the month.
 
Seriously, how many people write letters anymore? If that's going to be the guage of interest, there's obviously going to be none.

Agreed. And WSAH has done absolutely no promoting (that I'm aware of) for people to even know the network exists. So unless you happen to flip by the channel you'll never know it's there.
 
I am watching tonight and its hard to watch the sound is so out of sync with the picture.

That seems to be an RTV problem rather than WSAH. It's been reported in multiple locations.
